A Little About Me
Hi! Iâm Kate Hamblet, a licensed architect and owner of Balanced Architecture, based in New Hampshire. Iâve been obsessively designing sustainable buildings since 2007. I specialize in helping families create good homes: homes that are comfortable, efficient, healthy, sustainable, and make everyday life easier.
When I design a home, Iâm thinking about so much more than how it looks. Iâm considering how it will feel, how it will function day to day, how comfortable and healthy it will be, how much energy it will use, and how all of those decisions work together to create a home that truly supports the people living in it.
The Sustainable & Healthy Home Design Checklist is a culmination of everything I think about when designing for my 1:1 clients. I created it so you donât have to guess or Google your way through the process. Itâs here to guide you, clearly and simply, toward a home that feels right and works beautifully.
